Culture. Hobbies
Culture and hobbies include activities connected with free time, interests and the more creative side of life.
Under culture we view art, music, theatre and movies.
Under leisure activities we view primarily the pastimes, which have long-term traditions in Estonia, such as hiking, fishing, recreational hunting and we offer a short survey of hobby clubs, movements and associations.
The state organises the fields officially in the administrative jurisdiction of the state through the Ministry of Culture.
Amateur art activities and popular sports are organised and financed mainly by the local governments.
The aim of the Estonian National Culture Foundation is charity for supporting Estonian national culture through intentional collection and distribution of funds.
