Motor third party liability insurance

Motor third party liability insurance is a compulsory motor third party liability insurance established by Motor Third Party Liability Insurance Act for all motor vehicles and their trailers, the maximum speed limit of which according to the manufacturer exceeds 15 km per hour and which are required to have a registration plate.
Motor third party liability insurance contracts shall be entered into for an unspecified term between an insurance undertaking and the policyholder upon the purchase of a motor third party liability insurance policy. A motor third party liability insurance policy is fixed-term and although a motor third party liability insurance contract does not terminate at the due date, the driver does not have the right to drive the car until the receipt of the new insurance policy.
Green card
It is possible to enter countries where Motor Third Party Liability Act is valid by purchasing a frontier insurance contract of the relevant country. As the green card is free for the holders of motor third party liability insurance, it is reasonable to request a green card upon the conclusion of motor third party liability insurance contract and in this case you do not need a separate motor third party liability insurancein countries using the green card.
The green card is a usual liability, not a property insurance contract. By concluding the green card contract the vehicle's owner insures his or her responsibility, not the vehicle. This means that in case of an accident the owner of the responsible vehicle does not have to pay to the victim, but this is shall be done by the insurance undertaking for him.
