Higher military education

After compulsory military service has been completed, a professional higher education in military command and control may be pursued at the Officers’ School of the Estonian National Defence College; if a non-military higher education has been completed, supplementary military training may be undertaken in the Estonian Army, Navy or Air Force concentration at the Officers’ School after compulsory military service has been completed.

Furthermore, study may be pursued in the Master of Military Command and Control programme at the Officers’ School, where previously acquired general and specialist knowledge and skills are honed and more focused study is undertaken in one’s area of specialisation. Master’s study makes it possible to continue study in a specialisation pursued previously and undergo preparation for service in the staff of an infantry battalion or infantry brigade, in the position of a wartime battalion commander or in positions equivalent to them. Graduates are granted Master of Social Sciences degrees.
