Adding data on the certificate of temporary incapacity for work

This service allows a representative of a company/public institution or a self-employed entrepreneur (FIE) to send data about his/her employee's certificate of the temporary incapacity for work to the Estonian Health Insurance Fund. The certificates are listed by company and by person. 

The person holding the right to represent your company/institution and listed in the Business Registry automatically receives administrator rights at the State Portal and may provide access rights to other users. Read the access rights manual.

Public authorities and enterprises with special representation provisions can assign an administrator by sumbitting an application. Instructions for assigning an administrator:

Starting from 17/04/2019 there is no need to indicate wage in the case of extension of sickness benefit certificates.

 

Due to the continuing need to limit the spread of COVID-19 virus in Estonia, employers can temporarily submit employee’s bank account details digitally signed via e-mail if an employee is not able to use e-services.
 
To submit account details, please use the form "Application for change of account data" on the Estonian Health Insurance Fund website.
