The pension calculator help you calculate the approximate amount of your old-age pension as if you were to retire today.
Once you have calculated the corresponding amount, you can also view the breakdown of your state pension (the first pillar pension).
The amounts of pensions are presented in today’s value. The amount of the first pillar pension is calculated with the valid annual price and base amount. The amount of the second pillar pension is also calculated on the basis of the current value of the amount accumulated in the second pillar. When calculating the amount of the second pillar pension, the amount accumulated in the pillar is divided by the average number of remaining years in the retirement age, i.e. 224 months.
The calculator is pre-filled with the data that the Social Insurance Board and the Pension Centre already possess.
In the first pillar:
- It contains information on seniority in office since 1 January 1999. From then on, the accumulation period is calculated on the basis of the social tax received from the remuneration.
- The calculator may not contain information on seniority in office up to the end of 1998. This is calculated on the basis of employment record book entries and other documents, if necessary. If you have already submitted your employment record book to the Social Insurance Board, your pension qualifying period up to the end of 1998 has been included in the calculator. If this box is left blank but you were employed at that time, please take your employment record book to the Social Insurance Board.
In the second pillar:
- It contains the total value of the amount accumulated in the pension fund (including possible additional contributions by the state for up to a three-year-old child). The part of the second pillar is also reflected in the calculated total pension.
In the third pillar:
- It contains the total value of the amount accumulated in the pension fund; the calculated total pension does not reflect the third pillar part. Assets collected under a pension insurance contract are not reflected in the calculator. More information is available on the website of Pension Centre
You can change the information in the calculator yourself and view how adding information changes the pension amount.
