A special area by Gate 1 at Tallinn Airport is set to become home to a travellers' library. Its grand opening will take place at 1.00 pm on 9 May.
Between the pages of each book will be a bookmark and stamp asking readers to pen a dedication or good wish to the next person reading it, or simply to note down where the book is going or where it has already been.
Many of those who have donated books have already inscribed their wishes. The library will have books in ten different languages, the majority being in Estonian, Russian and English. There will also be a selection of children's books. Estonian president Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Mrs. Evelin Ilves have donated some of their own books to the collection.
