Forest notice
Forest owner or his representative must submit a forest notice to the county environmental service of the location of the immovable property about:
- planned felling activities;
- significant forest damages.
Without submitting a forest notification, the forest owner may cut up to 20 solid cubic metres of wood per immovable per year.
Information about submitting forest notice of already processed forest notice can be asked from the Environmental Board customer support via telephone +372 662 5999 (Mon-Thu 9.00-16.00, Fri 9.00-14.30) or via e-mail [email protected].
The notice can be submitted as follows:
- by entering the Forest Register (use of the service requires login with an ID card, Mobile ID or Smart-ID);
- in Forest Register as XML file;
- submitting a digitally signed application via e-mail [email protected]
- by post to the Environmental Board's local office .
Access to forest inventory data
Forest owner can see and download forest inventory data of his/hers property from the forest portal (in Estonian). Full use of the site requires login with ID-card or mobile-ID.
