Approval of training providers for authorised officials

If you wish to operate as a training provider for authorised officials, you will need to apply for an approval of the Transport Administration.

The aim of the training for authorised officials is the provision of information about the signals and equipment of authorised officials and the factors affecting the safety of authorised officials, as well as giving practical skills for traffic control.

The provider of training may begin operations immediately after being approved by the Transport Administration. The approval is indefinite.

The issuance of approvals is regulated by:

  • The Traffic Act
  • Regulation No. 56 of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications of 26 June 2011 ‘Procedure for training authorised officials, the form of certificates of authorised officials, and the procedure for the issue thereof’

Requirements for applicants

To be granted the approval, you must submit to the Transport Administration: an application (freeform);

  • a curriculum complying with requirements;
  • data about the qualifications of lecturers for the training for authorised officials;
  • the written confirmation of the lecturers to begin work;
  • other evidence about the compliance of the training provider with the requirements provided in Regulation No. 56 of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications of 26 June 2011 ‘Procedure for training authorised officials, the form of certificates of authorised officials, and the procedure for the issue thereof’.

Submission of applications

You can submit a digitally signed application to the Transport Administration at [email protected].

Processing applications

The Transport Administration will inform the applicant of their decision to approve or refuse to approve within 30 calendar days from the submission of the application.

If the application does not meet the requirements, i.e. the required data or documents have not been submitted or the application has other shortcomings, the Transport Administration will inform the applicant thereof by e-mail, adding an explanation for the elimination of the shortcomings. In addition, a term is set for the elimination of the shortcomings. If the shortcomings are not eliminated by the term, the Transport Administration may refuse to review the application.
