The register of agricultural animals includes the data of agricultural animals, the entrepreneurs and natural persons who keep them, as well as the places of operation of the fields of activity subject to notification and authorisation obligations. Keeping records of farm animals helps to prevent or stop the spread of animal diseases and thus helps to protect both animals and people. In addition, based on the register, various animal-based subsidies can be determined and animal husbandry-related supervision can be carried out. The register is maintained by the Agricultural Registers and Information Board. If a natural person (i.e. a person keeping agricultural animals in a household) wants to start keeping farm animals for the first time (including terrestrial and aquatic animals), a notice of animal husbandry must be submitted.
If an entrepreneur (i.e. a legal entity and a self-employed person) wants to start a business in areas of activity with the notification obligation, a notice of economic activities must be submitted. When starting to operate in areas of activity with an authorisation obligation, an application for an activity licence must be submitted.
All the notices mentioned above can be submitted ine-PRIA. Civil law partnerships and foreign legal and natural persons (except e-residents) can enter their data in the register using a separate form.

Using the online map, you can quickly find land parcels, semi-natural landscapes, and places of activity related to animal husbandry, and measure distances and areas. It is also possible to download data for land parcels and sites in both tabular and vector formats.
