As of 2018, undertakings are obligated to store and collect data on beneficial owners and to publish beneficial owners through the business register. For this purpose, the shareholders of the undertaking or members of the management board must disclose the data on beneficial owners to the management board of the undertaking. The management board then submits the data via the E-Business Register or through a notary.

Sole proprietors are not obliged to submit this information.

Information must be submitted about natural persons considered as beneficial owners who directly or indirectly hold or control in any way more than 25 per cent of the shares of the undertaking.
